RTTS casing leak detection procedureprecautions

1. On-site operation steps:

(1) Lower the RTTS packer to 2m below the setting position, and start the pump to flush the setting position.

(2) Lift up the drill string to the setting depth and record the hanging weight.

(3) The square footage and square surplus calculated according to the drilling tool TALLY shall be marked on the drill pipe.

(4) Press 10Klbs forward for 4 turns to confirm the setting and mark the position on the drill pipe.

(5) Start the mud pump, and the annulus is filled with liquid and returns to the wellhead.

(6) Close the universal blowout preventer and pressurize the mud pump annulus to see whether the pressure can be stabilized. If the pressure can not be stabilized, use the cementing pump to measure the leakage, record the wellbore leakage rate, and determine the leakage point position through data comparison.

(7) Release the pressure of the pressure relief valve, open the universal valve, lift it for 5 meters, and keep it still for 10 minutes to allow the rubber to fully shrink.

(8) POOH or RIH to another setting position. Repeat the above steps.

2. Precautions

(1) When entering the 9-5/8 "casing head, if it is blocked and can not be pressed down, it should be immediately lifted out of the wellhead, and the right friction block should be put down again. If the casing is set in advance or cannot be put down again after being unsealed, the string should be lifted up, reversed for one circle, and then put down.

(2) Run in stably; The pipe string cannot be rotated; Keep observing the change of the hanging weight of the weight indicator; When the hanging weight is reduced and the resistance is obvious, it is necessary to immediately lift up the string and unseal it; After the suspended weight is restored, stand still for 10-15 minutes, allow the packer rubber to be fully recovered, and then continue to run in.

(3) The RTTS packer must be functional tested after being put into the well, and continue to run in after it is normal, otherwise, the wellhead inspection is required.

(4) When setting the RTTS packer, the BOP position must avoid the drill pipe collar.

(5) Calculate the square footage and square surplus according to the setting position, and mark the drill pipe.

(6) The pressure relief of the cementing pump should not be too fast.

(7) Pay attention to grouting into the wellbore, and record the amount of wellbore leakage.

(8) Take photos of the RTTS packer in the well.

(9) The setting position of RTTS packer shall avoid the casing collar.

(10) Check the RTTS PACKER before entering the well,

The details are as follows:

1) Whether the slip can be flexibly opened and reset;

2) Whether the sealant cylinder has cracks or scratches;

3) Whether the teeth of the slip and hydraulic anchor are seriously damaged;

4) Whether the hydraulic anchor can be opened (whether the appearance inspection is rusted, or check the maintenance record);

5) Whether the friction block can be reset and whether the spring plate is rusted;

6) Whether the connection between each thread of the tool is tight;

7) Whether the rubber cylinder top shoe is locked with screw thread.
