Application

It has bidirectional anchoring function and be widely used for formation test, oil extraction, water exploration, plugging and other constructions. Especially suitable for well with big deflection or not easy sealing process by with other packers.

Structure and work principle

It is composed of upper joint, sealing element, locking unit, sitting unit, anchoring unit, unsealing unit and lower joint

Sealing: When it reaches design position, give pressure(15-16Mpa) from tubing, hold pressure for 5min. Through pressure transmission hole in center tube, hydraulic pressure is transmitted to hydraulic cylinder to push the piston go down to spread the slip to anchor on casing. At the same time, piston goes up to compress sealing element to seal casing annulus to realize sealing. After releasing pressure, inspect from casing to ensure that the sealing is reliable.

Unsealing: pull string, center tube is up along with string, break the unsealing shearing pin to release the sealing element, and then go up. Slips are away from casing to finish unsealing.
